NEW FEATURE - Quite a few people have expressed frustration at having to click through the may pages of a category.
Now, after selecting a category, scroll to the bottom of the page till you see Page: 1 2 3 4 >>View All and click on View All. The whole category will now be displayed as one continuous page.
There are many improvements from the previous website, and it is our hope that these changes will make it easier for you to move around the site intuitively and make your experience more enjoyable in every way. The sidebars down the right and left side of the page are alway visible no matter where you navigate to on the site.
Categories - Here is a listing of all the product that we offer for sale. As you hover over an item with your mouse, all sub-categories will be displayed.
By clicking on Details beneath a product, a larger picture is displayed along with additional information along with options allowing you to add it to the "Wish List", the "Shopping Cart" or email the page to a friend, or print it.
Information - Here you will be able to find all other non product content.
Search - found at the top of the left hand sidebar. Type in part or all of any item you are looking for and all matches will be displayed directly. Type in "munson" and all Munson plant will be displayed.
New Arrivals - We will use this to display items that have been newly added to our site. They will display here for 15 days. The item featured in the sidebar will change each time you return to the page, or you can choose to display all new items.
Specials - Here we will show items discounted from their regular price. As above they will change when you refresh the page, and you can choose to display all specials at once.
Shopping Cart - Displayed all the time on the right hand sidebar is a mini version of the shopping cart. This allows you to keep taps on your order without leaving the page. Click on "Shopping Cart" to get the more detailed full cart on the screen.
Checkout - When you are satisfied that you have your order assembled to you liking click on "Checkout". This screen will require you to fill in shipping and contact information. If you have previously created an account, this information will already be filled in. All orders of $100 or greater before taxes are shipped free anywhere in Canada by Canada Post Expedited. Further down you click on your preferred method of payment. If you choose credit card, we will delay the transaction until we verify your order.
My Account - Is found on the top menu bar. Here you can logon to your account or create on if you haven't yet done so. We realize that some people are unconfortable with this, and we don't make it mandatory. If you do choose to create an account, you will be able to view the history of all your orders, and view your Wish list. Also you email account will allow us to contact you to facilitate processing your order. When an order is placed, you won't have to re-enter address and contact information.
We are all concerned about security of our personal information. Betty and I are no exception. Before we chose this new website software, we researched this very carefully. With our website, no information at all is stored on our premises. All information is encripted and transmitted using the highly secure SSL protocol to a remote server site hosted by Rackspace (www.rackspace.com) the worlds largest hosting provider. They provide all of the state-of-the-art security that a small internet provider would be unable to provide.
Un-doubtedly, as with any new undertaking, there is bound to be bugs, typos, and other problems surfacing as you folks starts using it. Please, we invite (no implore you) to tell me at when you run across anything that needs attention. Only this way can we get things smoothed out as quick.y as possible.
