The best purple we have grown in our garden, Ancient of Days combines consistently flawless blossoms with great scapes and reblooming in our northern garden.  With wide laterals, Ancient of Days should be a great show flower and we had several days where 3 perfect blossoms on one scape were displayed without touching each other.  Foliage is evergreen but vigor is good here.  With dormant grand parents on both sides, we are seeing many dormants in the Ancient of Days offspring.  As a parent, Ancient of Days is unmatched in our garden.  Clear colors, flawless blooms and large white edges are characteristics of many seedlings from Ancient of Days.
