We had always planned to name a special daylily August Bride.  August Wedding produced many fine cream/white daylilies but August Bride has been outstanding in many ways.  First, the scape is among the best in the garden with wide lateral branches and 30 plus buds.  The foliage is arching so at 26” tall, the flower scapes are well above the foliage.  The flowers are exquisite, and August Bride has proven itself to be a great parent.
