height 28", bloom 7", season M, Rebloom, Dormant, Tetraploid, Apricot with purple eyezone above green throat. (HEADY WINE X KATE CARPENTER)
One of the largest, most spectacular daylilies in the garden, 'Eyes of Fury' produces giant 7 inch wide blossoms on sturdy, mid-sized plants in midsummer, and then occasionally again later in the season. The flowers are apricot colored with a prominent purple eye and green throat. Broad, ruffled petals open flat to reveal the flower's triangular form. Up to 24 blossoms are produced on each branched stem.
